Sorry, Blame It On Joe

*Watch in HQ.
Okay, so most of you should know I absolutely hate R&B/rap music but my best friend loves like a HUGE variety of music [except for the kinda music i like! (pop/rock, rock, heavy metal, screamo) xD] & her computer was being gay so she wanted me to burn her a CD using iTunes. So I did and one of the songs were “Sorry, Blame It On Me” by Akon. I clicked on it just outta curiosity & was surprised. It wasn’t retarded rap where it’s the same beat in every rap song, has no meaning, and pretty much the same words in every rap song. This one was different & had TONS of meaning. Instead of stupid pointless songs like “Lollipop”, “Smack That”, “Crank Dat”, “Low”, etc. I fell in love with it & for some reason, as I was singing “JEMI!(:” popped into my head. Haha, so I decided to make this! I hope you guys enjoy! If it’s confusing, watch the music video; it might help a little. Also, you might wanna take a look at the lyrics. [Links at the bottom where I always put links.] A lotta hard work was put into this. FIVE DAYS of hard work. I usually only take about two or three hours. 😀 Oh, and also, the original plot will be linked at the bottom. [The one with Akon.]

Let’s say everyone is different ages in the year 2007. Joe: 26, Kevin: 28, Nick: 23, Selena: 16, Miley: 23, Demi: 23; I know it’s odd, but cope with me, here. ;]

Plot:
In September 2007, Joe Jonas (26) drew criticism for having on-stage simulated sex with Selena Gomez (16) at a club in L.A., as a part of a fake contest, despite the club’s claim to have a 21 years and over age limit. The incident was filmed by Joe’s and his brother’s band and later uploaded to the internet. On October 20, 2008 local media, channel TV6, aired the video clip publicly. Amid criticism on the radio, television, and from the blogosphere, Verizon Wireless removed ringtones featuring the Jonas Brothers’ songs. Verizon also decided not to sponsor the Best of Both Worlds Tour where the Jonas Brothers were to be the opening act for Miley Cyrus. However, Hollywood Records did not take action against Joe and his brothers, but rather simply ordered the video clip be removed from video-sharing site YouTube due to copyright infringement. Conservative commentator and Parents Televison Council founder Brent Bozell called this “corporate irresponsibility.”

In one song from their new album, “Sorry, Blame It On Me,” Joe apologizes to the young girl for the incident at the club, though citing the club for admitting the girl because she was under 21 and her parents for letting her go out dressed like an adult. He also tells how Verizon dropped promoting their and Miley’s tour, and stopped sale of their ringtones. He also makes several other apologies to his children, wife, and mother as well. The song is available to listen to on the Jonas Brothers’ MySpace page and was released onto iTunes (U.S.) on January 17, 2008.

Political commentators Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham, and Bill O’Reily criticized Joe for “degrading women.” Malkin uploaded commentary about Joe to YouTube, using footage from music videos and the concert, and Hollywood Records then forced its removal by issuing a DMCA takedown notice. The Eletronic Frontier Foundation joined Malkin in contesting the removal as a misuse of copyright law, citing fair use. In March 2008, Hollywood Records rescinded its claim to the video, and the video returned to YouTube.

Iraqi Reporter Throws Shoes At Bush

http://www.backitupwithfacts.com

The would-be assassin got two shoes off prior to being subdued. An Iraqi reporter should lose his credentials forever over this. No head of state should ever be treated in this manner. Bush said they were size 10’s.
